Kaliana's Photo Shoot for Peek-A-Shoe

My Friend Amber (designer of Peek-A-Shoe asked me to do some product shots of Kali for her new fall tutu. It was so much fun! Kali never ceases to surprise me! She basically posed herself and her little personality just radiated through the lens.

She was trying to cover up the tatoo on her arm! Hence, the crossed arms in most of the pictures. I got a newer version of Photoshop so I am lovin' playing with the pictures in it.

She accidently fell over and was laughing hysterically when she got up. It was freezing cold and the weeds were kind of thorning. What a trooper! She had some scratches but still smiled for the shot.

It's been a LONG time

Wow! I can't believe how long it has been since I edited our family blog. Life has been such a blessing. We are all moved into our new house, Kali started at a new school, Cellabration Photography is picking up. I started second shooting with my good friend Leah and I couldn't be happier. Check out Cellabration's Blog to see some of the fabulous photo shoots that I have been doing lately. I have met some great people along the way.

Kevin reapplied to school, so please be in prayer that he gets in. Last semester, they weren't taking anymore new students. Tyler is almost completely potty trained. Just a few accidents but we are so close to being diaper free. Tymorie is walking and talking up a storm. She has learned to say, "NO". It is really cute but a pain at the same time. How very opinionated she is...I can't imagine why??

Well, I have to look through my photo files and catch everyone up. Keep an eye out. I am feeling inspired!

Anniversay SAFARI

For our anniversary, Kevin got me a Dolphin and Whale watching safari...we almost didn't bring the kids BUT I am so glad that we did! We had a blast...together. Before the BIG day we got some books on Dolphins and Whales from the library and learned all about them. We even pained some bottle-nose dolphins as a craft. Then we went to Dana Point and took a boat ride out to sea. The LORD blessed up with a pod of dolphins and a BLUE whale! The kids enjoyed every minute and so did we. When they looked at the library books (which reminds me, I haven't returned them yet) it was such a JOY to see them come alive to them. AWESOME, family day!

My BIGGEST little helper

Kaliana is such a HELPER! The other day she asked me to show her how to change a diaper....I was not objecting! What an AWESOME big sis!

Great FRIENDS...GOOD times....

We got to hang out with our GREAT friends the Robinsons recently. We went to the beach, out to lunch and just had a great time hangin with them! Thanks guys for having us out to your place in SD!

KEYS????

Alright, we will be signing the closing escrow papers tomorrow....we should have KEYS to our very FIRST home this week! We got an incredible deal on a fixer-upper right here in Menifee. WE are so excited to have a place to call our OWN. When we first started looking for HOMES we never expected this charming little place....the LORD has exceeded our expectations and I can't wait to post pics!

MOPS...a year gone by

Wow! ONE year of MOPS...gone by. I have been in MOPS for about three years now (Thank you Lo!) and this was my first year in leadership. I am so in LOVE with this ministry. I see the LORD working through the hands of a group of FABULOUS women and I have so grateful that the LORD called me to this place. I look forward for many more years of SERVICE to this ministry and of getting more involved.

I was marrying the MAN of my dreams. On May 15th, Kev and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary. Back in December of 2001, my friend called and asked me to go to Las Vegas for New Year's Eve...it was 11pm at night and something inside me couldn't wait to go. We left at midnight and arrived at 4 AM to some random hole in the wall motel to stay with her friends. This place was ghetto! The beds had a quarter machine to make the vibrate (EWW!) but there I was. Everyone was pretty much sleeping and the next day I noticed him. This amazingly handsome, tall, stud! I kept saying, "There's something about that guy..." Didn't know what it was but it was SOMETHING (the LORD literally sent me FIREWORKS...but I didn't quite know). After New Year's we found out that we knew a lot of the same people, hung out in a lot of the same crowds, graduated from the same school, and attended the same college. We started hanging out a LOT and about 2 months later I was telling my BESTEST friends....This is the MAN I am going to MARRY. Well, on May 15, 2004 my dreams came true and I married my SOULMATE, the one person who knows me so well, can finish my sentences, make me laugh till I cry and just smile and make all things well. Mr. CALDWELL, Thank you for making me your WIFE...for a wonderful 5 years, for providing for me and our THREE beautiful children...for being who you are and for LOVING me!

God is GOOD!

I just have to take time out to THANK the LORD for all of the blessings that HE had given to our family...we are so blessed. HE protects us in a fallen world, HE provides for us, HE LOVES us. Thank you, Lord for ALL the you have done.

Spirit West Coast

As an anniversary Present to Kev, I bought him tickets to Spirit West Coast (the biggest Christian Music Festival...EVER). Not realizing that it was the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. He couldn't go....but instead of wasting the tickets...I took the kids...by MYSELF! I wish I took more pics but three little ones, crowds of people at the Del Mar Fair grounds = not so many pics! They got their faces painted, jumped in bouncers, saw a few performances, went to a petting zoo, played carnival games...it was SO much fun! I think the best part when we saw Tod Agnew (LIVE) Ty started clapping his hands worshiping to the beat and Kali was raising her hand up to the LORD! Then I looked around and saw them ADMIST so many other believers in our LORD and SAVIOR...tear jerker!

The Blueberry Farm

I LOVE going to pick blueberries at Temecula Blueberry Co. Farmer Mike is SO great with the kids. Kali wasn't able to go (school) but I had the pleasure of taking my sweet tymie and little MAN ty. They had so much fun. Tyler was very precise with picking only the "blue"berries. And tymie showed no discrimination...red, green, blue...it didn't matter. She didn't really put any in her bucket. They went from the bush to her mouth! They (the two of them) ate a WHOLE pint of blueberries in a matter of minutes! Yum!!!!

A Trip to the Firestation

My MOPS group took the kiddos to the firestation....it was LOTS of fun! I got to dress up in REAL firemen gear and see Ty just light up! He LOVES firetrucks and wants to be a fireman when he grows up like Uncle "D"!

Happy Birthday TYMORIE!!

Tymorie is now ONE years old. What a joy she has been to watch grow up. Poor thing was so sick on her birthday but she was a tropper. We went to Fingerprints museum and let all the kids (and adults) run around and have fun. It was way low key with just the family and a whole lot of fun. Goodness, I love all these kids so much. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Butterflies, Butterflies and MORE Butterflies

This past week I was back east to welcome my brother home from Iraq and Kevin had the kids. He saw a really neat article in the newspaper about the relase of butterflies at this park in Rubidoux. So, he took all three kiddos (by himself) out there to see them (and even did a good job on the girls hair). They did crafts, fed the butterflies watermelon, watched them get set free and pet some bunnies. He even came home and emailed me the pictures so I could see them that same day. Great Job, Babe!

Tyler's in Tumble Class

Tyler is now in Tumbling Class (Gymnastics...Tumble just sounds so much more boyish). He loves going there on Friday mornings. It's fun to see him run around and play. His cousin, Cole, even does it with him.

Just for fun

Had the camera out the other day...and this is what I got. Kali was with my mom and didn't get to join in on the fun.

A thought...A poem...A revelation

As I was cleaning up yet another mess made by my son...I was down right annoyed! I cried out to God, "WHY! Why does he have to make such a mess? I can't take this anymore!" It's one thing after another. I can't leave the boy out of my sight for more than a second. And even then he still finds a way to push the boundaries. Whether it is coloring on the walls, pouring out all of the shampoo, playing with toilet water, TPing my living room, dumping out baby cereal, taking and eating all of Tymie's snacks from her, pouring himself water from the fridge (which ends up all over himself and the floor), jumping on furniture, taking a bath with all his clothes on, writing on his face with marker, pulling the tape out of the VHS tapes...the list can go on forever!

Then God pressed upon my heart, that he is exactly who he needs to be. A PRINCE of a Mighty King. I sat with that thought for a minute and I began to list off all of the character traits that I thought would be needed to be a PRINCE of a MIGHTY King. Courage, Bravery, Faith, Ambition, Vision, Strength...etc. And I realized that God needs MEN out there in this world who would be wiling to PUSH the boundaries of society, who will be willing to take on an ADVENTURE, who have VISION and will be willing to go out there and FAIL at times, who are AMBITIOUS to keep on GOING when the world tells them to stop...

Yes, my SON, GOD'S son, is a PRINCE of a MIGHTY King. And if I teach him how to walk in HIS ways imagine what a PRINCE like that could do in the KINGDOM! So, he is just practicing now...at home where he safe, loved and able to be taught. And soon, when he's smuggling bibles into China or traveling to some remote village in the Amazon to preach the WORD, or standing up for JESUS in school, or doing an act of kindness because GOD told him to, or loving his WIFE with all heart they way JESUS loves church...I will yearn for these days back. Yes, he is in training and I am his designated teacher.

So, with all that said I will be turning my thoughts, my revelation...into a poem called "A Prince of MIGHTY King...that's who". I am not sure when, or how, or even why...I just know that the next time I'm cleaning up some mess...I won't be crying out to God, "WHY" but I'll be saying, "Thank you, for trusting me with your PRINCE!"

A Princess Tea Party

Kali and Tymie decided to have a tea party. Kali dressed Tymie up with a scarf and crown and they were sitting in their room having a really fun time. Kali is such a great big sister. Tyler even joined in on the fun (but I won't be posting those pictures! ha ha). I am so happy they have eachother for sisters. What a blessing.

Good Afternoon, MOM!

After Tyler wakes up from his nap, he always yells for me. He likes to take his time waking up so there can be a quite a bit of time that passes from the time he wakes up to the time he yells for me. He can easily climb in and out of his crib but he knows not to leave his room until I come to get him. As I walked in after being summoned by him one afternoon...this is what I saw. I laughed so hard! The funny thing is...I happened to have the camera in my hand because I was going to download some pics on the computer. There is never a dull moment with Tyler around.

A Moment Like This....

is what makes motherhood indescribably beautiful.

The Leaning Tower of TP

After we came home from the grocery store, Tyler was so proud of his TP Tower. And of course, when Kevin saw him building he couldn't help but jump right in. They wanted to see how tall they could get it and if they could use all 24 rolls. To make a tall story short...they only got to 13! What a fun Daddy-Son moment.

Pure Irony, a Mouse (or so we thought) and a conversation with POISON control

Isn't it ironic that I have been sick since TUESDAY...with the worst body aches, fever, sore (or should I say..RAW) throat, cough, sinus pressure, stuffy nose...etc, counting down the hours, minutes and seconds until my hubby comes home from work. Still having to cook meals, clean messes, change diapers, wash dishes, do laundry, help with homework, wipe away tears, break-up fights, wait for the exterminator and sit on the phone with poison control...yes, poison control. And Kevin gets sick today? FRIDAY! Just in time for the weekend. To rest, relax and recover!! Oh, the irony of being a mom.

The mouse (or so we thought)...So, a mouse got in the house and we set some traps for it. But after a few days it was still here making itself comfortable in our home(not ideal). It was somehow able to claw it's way off of the sticky traps we left for him (don't use the ones from Home Depot). So, we called an exterminator to come over and have at it. We found out it is coming in from outside from under the sink. So we traped it last night and Kev had to dispose of not one but TWO mice! Real nice.

The dreaded call to Poison Control...the morning started off nice. I sent Kev and Kali off to work & school (on time), made breakfast for the little ones and put on Baby Mozart to try and steal a couple of minutes to brush my teeth, try and unclog my nose and tame my hair. That's when I heard it...the cry for help. It was Tymorie and she doesn't cry. I knew something was wrong. I ran downstairs only to find Tyler standing on a chair in front of her highchair with a bottle of 409 in hand. He was trying to "clean" her up! I screamed loud enough to make him stop spraying the bottle in her FACE, grabbed the baby and flushed her eyes out in the sink. Raced to bath tub to rinse her in there and dialed poison control. Thanks to GOD..she and Tyler (although that required some serious prayer) are just fine. I shouldn't have left them alone. GOD was truly watching out for her because after only 15 minutes under running water her eyes were good and she had no complaints of an upset tummy. I learned a really scary lesson that morning.

Thanks for listening to me rant!

"Big Bear Mountain PUN, Mom!" ~Tyler

What a "PUN" weekend we had in Big Bear. It snowed!!! The kids went sleding and snow tubing...and we stayed in a beautiful cabin...it was wonderful.
